Remnant Echo(Work in progress)
A 3D first-person interactive narrative game
Players step into the mind of a grieving girl,
using AI to reconstruct memories of a deceased loved one.
As the memories shift and evolve, players are challenged to
discern what’s real and what’s altered, ultimately facing the
choice to preserve, reshape, or let go of the past.
It’s a solo project created in Unreal Engine 5, using models sourced from Fabs Market.
Responsible for: Story and script development, game mechanics/ system design, UI design,
environment creation, lighting, and atmosphere design, and character animation setup.
The BGMs are "Singularity" by Jonny Easton and "Reflection" by Luke Moseley,
and sound effects are sourced from freesound.org.

Dialogue System
Memory Center

Once all the core memories have been gathered, the AI will lead the player into the Memory Center. Here, fragments of the past are brought back to life through the reconstruction of objects. Within this space, players will not only uncover these echoes of memory but also engage with the digital boy, deciding how his story will be reshaped.
Player Choice

The player’s choices will immediately be reflected in the digital boy, shown through visible changes and reactions (currently represented only by colors). At the same time, each decision will open a different portal, leading the player into the next stage.
